ART IVF Centre opens at KHAMH, A'Ali
The ART-IVF Centre of the King Hamad American Mission Hospital (KHAMH), in A’Ali, was opened by His Excellency Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Chairman, Supreme Council of Health, on Wednesday, 29 Nov 2023.
The Minister of Health H.E. Dr. Jaleela bint AlSayed Jawad Hasan, and the CEO of NHRA H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Ansari, were also present at the launch of the hospital’s new services in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and In vitro fertilization (IVF).
American Mission Hospital’s Corporate CEO Dr George Cheriyan and its Group CEO Julia Tovey welcomed the dignitaries at the boardroom.
Dr Maryam Dashti, the Director of the hospital’s ART-IVF Centre led the chief guests and the visitors on a short tour of the facility and gave a brief presentation.
She explained some of the futuristic state of the equipment and techniques available, for the first time in the GCC, at this newly opened centre, to help couples unable to become parents in normal ways.
KHAMH’s Medical Director and Chief of Medical Staff Dr Deepak Abraham, and KHAMH’s COO Peter Kennedy, were among those present at the event along with the visiting government officials
